Advantages and disadvantages of brushless motors

The principle of radio remote control car

A radio-controlled car uses a common set of components for control and operation. All cars require a transmitter, which has a joystick or pistol grip for control,rc connector, a trigger for throttle and a wheel for steering, and a receiver for mounting in the car device.

The receiver converts the radio signals broadcast from the transmitter into electrical control signals suitable for controlling other components of the system. Most radio systems utilize AM radio signals and use pulse width modulation. Offers an upgraded radio system that uses more powerful FM and pulse code modulation.

The receiver controls the electronic speed and servo via pulse width modulation; the pulse duration sets the current electronic speed control to allow flow into the motor or to set the servo angle. A servo protector is a flexible link between a servo and its linkage that protects the servo’s internal gears from damage during shock or stress.
